The 2021 U.S. Masters Swimming Spring National Championships will be held Thursday, April 29 through Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. The Spring Nationals are typically the largest annual national championship competition in Masters Swimming, averaging almost 2,000 swimmers per meet. The 2021 Championships will be the third held in Greensboro, with previous Spring Championships there in 2012 and 2016, but the first Championships to be able to take advantage of the new fourth pool, a second 50m pool at the GAC added in 2018. The Raleigh Area Masters Swim Team will be the primary host club for the event, with Hill Carrow, serving as Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee and Mark Rubacky as Meet Director. Beth Burge will serve as Meet Referee and Lynne Klauer will serve as Administrative Referee. This will be North Carolina's fifth U.S. Masters Swimming National Championships: in addition to the years in Greensboro, North Carolina was the site of the 1984 USMS Long Course National Championships at Raleigh's Optimist Pool, and the 1992 USMS Short Course National Championships at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill's Koury Natatorium. Hill Carrow has served as the point person for the Local Host Committee for all five Masters Swimming Championship Meets held in the state, ranking him third in the country in terms of USMS National Championship Meet leadership positions.
